| Spanish abstract | Schopenhauer mantuvo con la universidad de su tiempo una tensa relación. Aunque el filósofo veía en ese recinto del saber un lugar propicio para el despliegue de sus planteamientos, también representaba la posibilidad de su dispersión y vulgarización. En el presente artículo exponemos las ventajas y desventajas que Schopenhauer sostiene a favor y en contra del filosofar dentro de la universidad como institución, al mismo tiempo que intentamos divisar una salida ante la actual crisis de la filosofía |
| English abstract | Schopenhauer maintained a harsh relationship with the university of his time. While the philosopher viewed this institution of learning as a favorable place to communicate his ideas, it also entailed the possibility of their dilution and trivialization. In this article, we will present the advantages and disadvantages that Schopenhauer proposes for and against philosophizing in the university as an institution, while attempting to find a solution to the current philosophical crisis |
