| Spanish abstract | En este ensayo se analiza la figura de los perros dentro del universo narrativo y biográfico del escritor mexicano Mario Bellatin (1960), específicamente en la novela Perros héroes (2006). Incorporando material encontrado en entrevistas y otras publicaciones del autor, se propone entender la presencia perruna como una puesta en cuestión de la superioridad del hombre por sobre el animal. Además, este análisis se complementa al ponerlo en directa vinculación con otras desarticulaciones importantes dentro de este proyecto escritural: de las maneras tradicionales de narrar, de la identidad de los sujetos, de la separación autor/obra, de los límites entre distintas disciplinas artísticas, entre otras |
| English abstract | This essay analyzes the figure of dogs inside Mexican writer Mario Bellatin’s (1960) narrative and biographical universe, specifically in the novel Perros héroes (2006). Incorporating material found on interviews and other texts published by the author, it seeks to understand the doggish presence as a means to question the superiority of man over animals. Furthermore, this analysis is complemented by placing it in direct relation with other important disarticulations within this writing project: of traditional ways of narrating, of the subjects’ identities, of the author/work separation, of the limits between different artistic disciplines, among others |
