English abstract | The purpose of this paper is to describe and analyze the main ways youth are addressed in the Final Declarations issued by the Ibero- American Youth Organization (IYJ) during the last two decades of the twentieth century. The working assumption is that the use of certain enunciative forms builds the youth nucleus discursively from a key that seeks to homogenize and erase differences in young people. Using critical discourse analysis, this assumption is approached starting with identification of the dominant use of the singular formyouth, the stamp of territorial anchorages, and finally, the relevance of generational perspective |
