| English abstract | This paper seeks to address the strategic perspectives in Security and Defense of the People’s Republic of China and Taiwan, regarding the maritime and territorial conflict that they sustain over the island of Formosa. Likewise, it is intended to contextualize historically and observe both visions, which configure the dynamics that frame the actions of both actors and therefore the tension and detente phases in a conflict that compromises the stability and security of the Asia-Pacific region |
