| English abstract | This article aims to describe the application of a didactic sequence with gender in a classroom of 8th grade, as well as bringing the results that were observed during the performance of work and a comparison between the proposed teaching approach based on gender and SD and the approach provided by the school book that brings the genre. The theoretical assumptions underlying the research are the sociodiscursive interactionism. | Portuguese abstract | O presente artigo tem como objetivo descrever a aplicação de uma sequência didática em uma turma de 8º ano, bem como trazer os resultados que foram observados durante a realização do trabalho e estabelecer uma comparação entre a proposta de ensino baseada na abordagem de gêneros e SD e a abordagem prevista pelo apostilado da escola que traz gênero textual. Os pressupostos teóricos que subjazem à pesquisa são os do interacionismo sociodiscursivo. Com a elaboração e aplicação, pudemos perceber que o trabalho com gêneros textuais se apresenta como uma alternativa significativa para o ensino/aprendizagem de língua inglesa |
