| English abstract | Pope Francis has insisted, consistent with his testimony, that the Church be a field hospital in the existential and social peripheries. However, the hopeful scenario leveraged by Francis does not seem to have the same effects on ecclesial grounds. A light that does not shine, a salt that does not salt, a leaven that does not leaven. Who do we want to evangelize with these behaviors? Why don’t we go out? What is the problem with pastoral paralysis? It is at the heart of this question that the text is born. On the one hand, it seeks to collect some complaints – complaints – ecclesial ‘sour grapes’ from lay leaders and their pastors. On the other hand, a path of overcoming is elucidated, pointing out the freshness and the fragrance of the Gospel, as ‘new wine’ for a decidedly missionary pastoral. This path is followed through a bibliographical analysis, supported by the reflections of Pope Francis and other theologians |
| Portuguese abstract | O Papa Francisco tem insistido, coerentemente com seu testemunho, que a Igreja seja hospital de campanha nas periferias existenciais e sociais. No entanto, o cenário esperançoso alavancado por Francisco parece não surtir os mesmos efeitos nas bases eclesiais. Uma luz que não brilha, um sal que não salga, um fermento que não leveda. Quem queremos evangelizar com estes comportamentos? Por que não saímos? Qual o problema da paralisia pastoral? É no bojo dessa questão que nasce o texto. Por um lado, busca-se recolher alguns reclamos – queixas –, as ‘uvas azedas’ eclesiais provenientes de lideranças leigas e seus pastores. Por outro lado, elucida-se um caminho de superação, apontando o frescor e o perfume do Evangelho, como ‘vinho novo’ para uma pastoral decididamente missionária. Percorre-se esse caminho, através de uma análise bibliográfica, tendo por suporte as reflexões do Papa Francisco e de outros teólogos |
