| Spanish abstract | ¿Puede la forma de mirar cambiar como vivimos? Sin duda. A partir de la crítica que Merleau-Ponty hace a la mirada moderna sobre las cosas, se muestra la necesidad de entender al hombre como ser corpóreo en relación: ex-céntrico. El artículo rescata la idea de Gestalt como se expresa en la imagen de la carne, para invitar a construir una mirada afirmativa que reconozca al hombre en toda su humana posibilidad. Tal mirada implica una nueva comprensión del hombre, en una relación más ecológica consigo y con su entorno. Se sugiere así un habitar que transforme el ethos, rostro y morada del hombre. En suma, un nuevo entendimiento y ejercicio de la libertad |
| English abstract | Can the gaze change the way in which we live? Certainly. Starting from the critique that Merleau-Ponty directs towards the modern gaze on things, the article shows the need of understanding Man as a bodily relational being: an ex-centric being. The text recovers the idea of Gestalt as expressed through the image of Flesh in order to build an affirmative gaze that recognize Man in its full human possibility. Such a gaze implies a new comprehension of Man, as existing in a more ecological relation with his environs and with himself. It suggests a dwelling that transforms the ethos, face and abode of Man. In brief, it calls for a new understanding and exercise of freedom |
