| English abstract | The aim of this paper is to present articulations proposals for the notion of spatial expression and socio - economic indicators in order to contribute to the refinement of the geographic reasoning. The intellectual effort made has as substrate the theory of geographical space, which supports the necessity of forging mechanisms that ensure coherence and the opening of dialogue s for the understanding of socio - spatial reality. Methodologically, this research lists theoretical tools from the exploration of documentary and bibliographical sources. The study indicates that these articulations allow the improvement of the analysis of the socio - economic indicators expanding the capacity of understanding of links between the variables and, therefore, of reality. So, it constitutes an instrument of Geography for the spatial analysis with support in geographic information |
| Portuguese abstract | O objetivo deste trabalho é apresentar propostas de articulações entre a noção de expressão espacial e o s indicadores socioeconômicos , na perspectiva de contribuir para o refinamento do raciocínio geográfico. O esforço intelectual empreendido tem como substrato a teoria do espaço geográfico, a qual sustenta a necessidade de se forjar mecanismos que garantam coer ência e abertura de diálogos para a compreensão da realidade socioespacial . Em termos metodológicos, esta pesquisa arrola instrumentos teóricos a partir da exploração de fontes documental e bibliográfica. O estudo aponta que essas articulações permitem o aprimoramento das análises dos indicadores socioeconômicos , ampliando a cap acidade de compreensão das relações entre as variáveis e, por conseguinte, da realidade. Portanto, constituise num instrumento da Geografia para a análise espacial com sustentação em informações geográficas |
