| Spanish abstract | Este artículo muestra el nivel alcanzado respecto al Dimensionado y Tolerado Geométrico de dibujos mecánicos en Hispanoamérica. Para lograr este propósito, se mira si los diferentes organismos de normalización han homologado estándares ISO que atañen a este tema. También se analiza la cantidad de normas homologadas y la calidad de las traducciones realizadas por país. Se puede apreciar como menos de la mitad de los países han hecho homologaciones y como la mayoría de los que las han realizado presentan fallas que limitan su uso y confiabilidad. |
| English abstract | This paper presents the level reached in the Spanish America regard Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing -GDT- of mechanical drawings. To pursue this goal it is shown the countries that has homologated at least one of the ISO standards on this subject. It is also analysed the amount and the translation quality of the ISO standards regard GDT. It follows from this article that less than half of the countries have standards on this matter. Also, that the quality of the norms in most of countries are difficult to use and non reliable. |
