| Spanish abstract | Se determinó la concentración de partículas respirables (PM10) y partículas gruesas (PST) en el aire de Santa Marta. El análisis espacial y temporal de la relación PM10/PST permitió diferenciar las zonas de la ciudad y las épocas del año con variación en la concentración de estos dos parámetros. Se reportan valores críticos de calidad del aire en la estación Zaleza donde para PM10 se encontró que el 83 % de las muestras tomadas violan la norma diaria de PM10. |
| English abstract | Breathable (PM10) and coarse (TSP) particulate matter concentration in air of Santa Marta was determined. The spatial and temporal analysis of PM10/PST ratio showed different areas and months with variation in the concentration of these parameters. Critical values are reported at Zaleza station where PM10 concentration exceeds the daily limit in 83% of the samples collected. |
