| English abstract | Four new species of Phyllophaga (s. str.) collected in Mexico are described: P. herrerana n. sp. from the mountains of Puebla and Veracruz; P. imeldae n. sp. from highlands of Dolores, Guerrero; P. roberterroni n. sp. from Sierra Norte de Hidalgo; and P. loxichana n. sp. from Sierra de Miahuatlán, Oaxaca. Images of dorsal and lateral habitus, and illustrations with details of diagnostic structures are included, as well as comments about differences with other Mexican species of Phyllophaga |
