| Spanish abstract | El objetivo del estudio fue analizar el costo de capital como elemento apalancador del rendimiento financiero en las pequeñas empresas del Distrito Especial, Turístico y Cultural de Riohacha. Se realizó bajo el paradigma cuantitativo, de tipo descriptivo, diseño no experimental, transaccional de campo. Arrojando como resultado que las pequeñas empresas en su mayoría disponen de recursos propios para financiar su estructura de capital, razón por la cual existe plena conciencia sobre la rentabilidad que se recibe por la inversión, sin considerar factores de endeudamiento en sus diferentes presentaciones |
| English abstract | The objective of the study was to analyze the cost of capital as a leverage element of financial performance in the small businesses of the Special, Tourist and Cultural District of Riohacha. It was carried out under the quantitative paradigm, of a descriptive type, non-experimental design, transactional field. Spreading as a result that small companies mostly have their own resources to finance their capital structure, which is why there is full awareness of the return on investment, without considering debt factors in their different presentations |
