| Spanish abstract | Este artículo parte de una reflexión teórica y empírica del fenómeno coyuntural que se suscitó en Honduras en el año 2018, el cual originó la caravana migratoria. El objetivo es analizar la movilidad de cuatro mujeres hondureñas bajo los estudios de la migración forzada como categoría analítica en la toma de decisiones de las viajantes. Por otra parte, se identifica la violencia institucional que sufren las féminas al viajar en el transporte férreo denominado “La Bestia” que recorre México. La metodología utilizada en esta investigación tiene un enfoque cualitativo con un instrumento de entrevistas semiestructuradas a cuatro mujeres hondureñas que relatan el recorrido migratorio y la violencia sufrida en el trayecto hacia los Estados Unidos, en el cual vierten sus experiencias de vida en el tren de carga |
| English abstract | This article is based on a theoretical and empirical reflection of the conjunctural phenomenon that arose in Honduras in 2018, which originated the migratory caravan. The objective is to analyze the mobility of four Honduran women under the studies of forced migration as an analytical category in the decision-making of travelers. On the other hand, the institutional violence suffered by women when traveling on the rail transport called «La Bestia» that runs through Mexico is identified. The methodology used in this research has a qualitative approach with an instrument of semi-structured interviews with four Honduran women who narrate the migratory journey and the violence suffered on the way to the United States, in which they share their life experiences on the freight train |
