| Spanish abstract | La escena mítica del sacrificio de Isaac introduce un interrogante por la relación entre el padre y el hijo a través del sacrificio. Abraham, padre de las religiones monoteístas, es el gran padre dispuesto al filicidio por orden de Dios. El primer mandato de Dios dice: "Mata a tu hijo, ofrécelo en sacrificio". Sin vacilar, Abraham se alista para cumplir la orden y solo en el último momento, cuando está a punto de degollar al niño, aparece de nuevo la voz de Dios para decir (No). Ambos mandatos, tanto el prescriptivo como el proscriptivo, confluyen en un mismo evento. ¿A qué se debe esta contradicción interna de la voz divina? ¿Por qué le demanda a Abraham sacrificar a su hijo amado? ¿Qué función tiene el niño en el acto sacrificial? |
| English abstract | The mythical scene of Isaac's sacrifice introduces a question regarding the father-child relationship through sacrifice. Abraham is the father of monotheistic religions, the great father willing to commit filicide at God's command. God's first mandate was: "Kill thy child, offer him up in sacrifice". Without hesitating, Abraham gets ready to comply with the command and only at the very last moment, when he is ready to behead the child, God's voice reappears and says (No). Both the prescriptive and the proscriptive mandates converge in a single event. What explains this internal contradiction of the divine voice? Why does it order Abraham to sacrifice his beloved son? What is the function of the child in the sacrificial act? |
| Other abstract | La scène mythique du sacrifice d’Isaac pose la question du rapport entre le père et le fils via le sacrifice. Abraham, père des religions monothéistes, est le grand Père prêt à l’infanticide exigé par Dieu. Le premier mandat de Dieu est «Tue ton fils, offre-moi ton fils en sacrifice». Sans hésitation, Abraham se prépare à accomplir l’ordre et ce n’est qu’au dernier moment, quand il est sur le point de décapiter son fils, que la voix de Dieu réapparaît pour dire ‘non’. Les mandats de prescription et de proscription confluent au même événement. Pourquoi cette contradiction interne de la voix divine? Pourquoi demande-t-il à Abraham de sacrifier son fils aimé? Quelle est la fonction du fils dans l’acte sacrificiel? |
