| Spanish abstract | El acné vulgar puede ser no inflamatorio (comedónico) o inflamatorio. La variedad inflamatoria admite formas muy severas. Ya que este padecimiento afecta mucho la autoestima, es necesario proceder a un tratamiento preciso y rápido con el objetivo de prevenir o minimizar las cicatrices residuales. Si bien el advenimiento de isotretinoína ha revolucionado el tratamiento del acné, debe utilizarse con precaución sobre todo en casos de gran inflamación |
| English abstract | Acne vulgaris may be non-inflammatory (comedogenic) and inflammatory, with the latter including severe forms. Since acne has deep consequences in self-esteem, it is necessary to treat rapidly and precisely to order to prevent or minimize residual scars.
