| Spanish abstract | Esta investigación ha sido realizada por el Programa de Formación Avanzada en Educación, del Centro de Educación de la Universidad de la Empresa (UDE). Tiene como objetivo no únicamente identificar, sino comprender el “malestar docente”, que actúa corroyendo, poco a poco, el ánimo del educador. Ha sido verificado además que la presión estresante sobre el sujeto-profesor adviene de varias situaciones, como valoración de la profesión, cuidado con su formación, condiciones mínimas de trabajo, etc. Los profesores se sienten descontentos consigo mismos e insatisfechos con sus resultados, perjudicando consecuentemente el hacer pedagógico. Es, pues, necesario y urgente una acción efectiva entorno al cuidado con la salud mental del profesor que, complementada por acciones políticas visando mejorías en las condiciones de la enseñanza, puedan, de hecho, garantizar los deseados cambios en la práctica pedagógica y, consecuentemente, en la calidad de la enseñanza |
| English abstract | This research has been conducted by the Advanced Training Program in Education, Education Center at the Universidad de la Empresa (UDE). It aims not only identify, but to understand the teaching discomfort, which acts eroding gradually, the mood of the teacher. It was also verified that the pressure stress on the subject-teacher comes into being from various situations, such as valuation of the profession, careful training, minimum working conditions, etc. The teachers are unhappy with themselves and dissatisfied with their results, consequently damaging the pedagogical realization. It is therefore an urgent need for effective action around the mental health care with the professor who, complemented by policy measures aiming at improvement in the conditions of education, may, in fact, guarantee the desired changes in teaching practice and consequently, the quality of teaching |
