| Spanish abstract | Siguiendo la exposición y el análisis individual y comparativo de los principios y las tesis básicas que Robert Darnton y Roger Chartier han admitido para desarrollar sus respectivos modelos de historiografía cultural, en este artículo se ofrecen comentarios, críticas y conclusiones a propósito de la manera en que los autores mencionados, dejándose llevar honestamente por la consecuencia reflexiva y asumiendo la responsabilidad científica que les corresponde, han aplicado, cada uno por su cuenta, determinados géneros de razonamiento, ciertas clases de inferencias y métodos extrapolados de otras disciplinas sociales con el fin de justificar teóricamente la inclusión de los medios electrónicos y cibernéticos de comunicación destacando especialmente la Internet en sistemas explicativos de las relaciones fundamentales que traban generalmente los sistemas deproducción y circulación de textos (impresos o digitalizados) y las diferentes modalidades de su recepción y uso por los individuos |
| English abstract | Following the exposition and the individual and comparative analysis of the basic principles and thesis that Robert Darnton and Roger Chartier have considered valid in order to sustain their respective models of cultural historiography, in this article the reader will find commentaries, critics andconclusions regarding the manner in which the aforementioned authors, carrying their reflections honestly until the final consequences and assuming thescientific responsibility for what they are doing, have applied certain kinds of reasoning and inference, as well as methods found in other social disciplines to theorically justify, each in his own way, the inclusion of electronic and cybernetic communication media -especially the Internet- in explanatory systems of the fundamental relationships that generally maintain the systems of production and circulation of texts (both printed and digital) and the different modalities of their reception and use by individuals |
