| Spanish abstract | El presente trabajo resume y discute las principales líneas de prolongación y de cuestionamientos de la sociología de Bourdieu en Europa, a 10 años de su muerte. El autor distingue tres líneas principales: la primera se refiere a las numerosas controversias suscitadas por su obra La distinction, que trata de la legitimidad cultural y de la función de la cultura en la estratificación social; la segunda tiene que ver con las importantes prolongaciones de su investigación sobre "la nobleza de Estado", que se ocupa de la elite política y de la clase dirigente en Francia, pero que hoy se extiende también a las de otros países europeos. La tercera reseña las investigaciones que están siendo realizadas por un fuerte grupo de investigadores europeos sobre "las condiciones sociales de un diálogo racional en las ciencias sociales a escala europea", utilizando el marco conceptual de Bourdieu. Se trata de un terreno de encuentros entre intelectuales de disciplinas y de nacionalidades diferentes, en el marco de la fundación "Pierre Bourdieu" |
| English abstract | The text summarizes and discusses the main lines of continuation and questioning of Bourdieu's sociology in Europe, 10 years after his death. The author highlights three main lines: the first refers to the numerous controversies arising from his work The Distinction, which deals with cultural legitimacy and the function of culture in social stratification; the second has to do with the important furthering of his research on "State nobility", which deals with the political elite and the ruling class in France, but which today is also widespread in other European countries; the third outlines the research being carried out by an influential group of European researchers on "the social conditions of a rational dialogue in the social sciences throughout Europe", using Bourdieu's conceptual frame. It involves a series of meetings among intellectuals from different disciplines and nationalities, within the framework of the "Pierre Bourdieu" Organization |
