| Spanish abstract | Puesto que el concepto de revolución es definido de distintas maneras y por diversos autores (Hannah Arendt, Gianfranco Pasquino, Guy Rocher, entre otros) resulta difícil lograr una conceptualización unívoca; la variedad de elementos que la componen y la función que se les quiere otorgar hacen mas compleja su definición. El artículo pretende dar una sucinta mirada a éste concepto en su acepción política: origen del término, algunas precisiones sobre las diferencias del concepto de revolución con los de rebelión y golpe de estado; la violencia como uno de los elementos comunes de dichos conceptos, y algunas apreciaciones sobre la actualidad del tema |
| English abstract | Revolution has different meanings and by different authors (Hannah Arendt, Gianfranco Pasquino, Guy Rocher, among others), and it is difficult getting an only conceptualization of it at the rate of the variety of its components and the role they want grant. This occurs as result of the elements which compose it and the function which is given. Due to the ambiguity of the concept of revolution, this article pretends to show a brief look to this concept in its political sense. In this way, it talks about the term of the origin of revolution and some differences of the concept of revolution, concept of rebellion and putsch or coup d'etat. Moreover, trying to the violence as one of the most common elements of these concepts, followed by some insights on the subject today.To finish, with some general conclusions |
