| English abstract | In this paper, we analyze the problem of the historiographical construction in the work of Antonio Romera and the transfers in the art during the nineteenth century. We consider it is difficult to refer to a purely local art. First, we examine the motives of the European influences of the art in Chile. Subsequently, we review the texts of Antonio Romera, examining the characteristics that occurred in Chile for the formation of a hereditary art of Europe |
