| Spanish abstract | Estudio de la recepción que tuvo la obra del filósofo alemán Oswald Spengler (1880-1936) en América Latina durante la primera mitad del siglo XX. Esbozo de la interpretación que los pensadores latinoamericanos hicieron del filósofo alemán, cuáles fueron los conceptos que retomaron de su obra y cuáles debatieron. Finalmente se concluye que la lectura de su obra creó y evidenció las redes que se mantenían entre dichos pensadores |
| English abstract | Paper on how the work of the German philosopher Oswald Spengler (1880- 1936) was received in Latin America during the first half of the 20th century. The author here presents an outline of the readings of the German philosopher made by Latin American thinkers, and which of his concepts were used and which ones questioned. Finally, the author concludes that Spengler’s work created and evidenced the networks linking these Latin American thinkers |
