| English abstract | This text exposes initial reflections about the life trajectories of three Colombian female former combatants. It also emphasizes on their militant experiences. Our analyses of the socialization processes, previous to the entry to the armed groups, are focused on their narrations about their families, their urban socialization and their level of educational attainment. In terms of the militant experiences, we highlight various tensions, especially those between militancy and motherhood, and between armed struggle and peace. About the latter tension, we affirm that the commitment with the armed struggle has meant, for those women, a commitment with the peace. This one has been influenced and questioned by other experiences in Latin America, and is still present in the different scenes from the armed militancy. This comparative reading on their life trajectories, their militant experiences and their notions of the peace, allow us to do a critical approach to the wagers of peace that they have done |
| Spanish abstract | Este texto expone reflexiones iniciales respecto de las trayectorias de vida de tres mujeres excombatientes colombianas, enfatizando en sus experiencias militantes. El análisis sobre los procesos de socialización anteriores a su ingreso a los grupos armados se concentra en las narraciones que estas mujeres hacen sobre sus familias, su socialización en áreas urbanas y su nivel de estudios. En términos de las experiencias militantes, el artículo pone en evidencia diversas tensiones, especialmente entre militancia y maternidad, y entre lucha armada y paz. Respecto de esta última, sostiene que el compromiso con la lucha armada significó para estas tres mujeres un compromiso por la paz, influenciado y cuestionado por otras experiencias en América Latina, y que sigue estando presente en escenarios diferentes a la militancia armada. Esta lectura comparada de sus trayectorias de vida, sus experiencias militantes y sus nociones de paz, permiten hacer un acercamiento crítico a sus apuestas por la paz. |
