| Spanish abstract | Sobre la base de los estudios realizados, así como las premisas establecidas por el MINAZ Nacional, se procedió a realizar el ordenamiento y planificación territorial de las áreas del MINAZ en Villa Clara. Se digitalizaron e introdujeron en un SIG (MapInfo) la base catastral 1: 10000 de todas las unidades de producción de Villa Clara, el mapa de suelos y las hojas cartográficas 1: 25000, se asociaron las bases de datos agrícolas y de los servicios científico–técnicos. Con el empleo de los SIG se generaron diferentes escenarios que permitieron optimizar la toma de decisiones. Se conformaron en la provincia 10 empresas azucareras y 5 agropecuarias, y se elaboró una nueva propuesta de uso donde aproximadamente el 36,6 % del área agrícola se destinó al cultivo de la caña de azúcar, a cultivos varios 9,47 %, el 44,4 % a la actividad pecuaria, 7.85 % a forestales y el 1,63 % al cultivo de los frutales |
| English abstract | On the base of the studies carried out, as well as the premises settled down by the Ministry of Sugar (MINAZ), it was proceeded to carry out the classification and territorial planning of the areas of MINAZ in Villa Clara. It was digitized and introduced in a SIG (MapInfo) the cadastral base 1: 10000 of all the productive units of Villa Clara, the map of soils and the cartographic sheets 1: 25000 were associated to the agricultural databases and to the scientific - technician services. With the use of the SIG different scenarios were generated which allowed to optimize the taking of decisions. Ten sugar companies and five agricultural ones were conformed in the Province, and a new proposal for their use was elaborated where approximately 36.6 % of the agricultural area was dedicated to sugarcane grow- ing, to other crops 9,47 %; 44,4 % to the cattle activity, 7,85 % to forest and 1,63 % to the cultivation of the fruit-bearing ones |
