| Spanish abstract | Se caracterizó el estado de la Gestión Agraria Sostenible de la Empresa Azucarera Ifraín Alfonso del municipio de Ranchuelo, mediante métodos de trabajo en grupos con la participación de profesionales, técnicos, investigadores y directivos, así como la consulta a expertos, partiendo de la definición de 83 indicadores de sostenibilidad. El conjunto de indicadores definidos mediante un proceso estructurado por dimensión de sostenibilidad, categoría, elemento, propiedad de agroecosistema y descriptor, ofreció una calidad apropiada para la caracterización de los agroecosistemas de la Empresa (Ic = 0,69). El análisis de componentes principales detectó que 41 indicadores explicaron el 78,8 % de la variación total en las tres primeras componentes, permitiendo utilizarlos en la caracterización de las Unidades Productoras de caña. Las Unidades Teobaldo Núñes y Victor Abello presentaron mayores discordancias entre las dimensiones ecológica y económica, al tener los porcentajes más elevados de tierras productivas y muy productivas y, sin embargo, los más bajos rendimientos agrícolas e indicadores económicos, resultados que fueron corroborados con el análisis de clasificación automática al incluirse en un mismo grupo del dendograma |
| English abstract | The state of the Sustainable Agrarian Administration of the Sugar Company Efraín Alfonso of the municipality of Ranchuelo was characterized, by means of work methods in groups with the participation of professionals, technicians, investigators and directive, as well as the consultation to experts, leaving of the definition of 83 sostenibilidad indicators. The group of defined indicators by means of a process structured by sostenibilidad dimension, category, element, agroecosistema prop- erty and describer, offered an appropriate quality for the characterization of the agroecosistemas of the Company (Ic = 0,69) . The analysis of main components detected that 41 indicators explained 78,8 % of the total variation in the first three components, allowing to use them in the characterization of the Units cane Producers. The Unidades Teobaldo Núñes and Víctor Abello presented bigger disagree- ments among the ecological and economic dimensions, when having the highest percentages in pro- ductive and very productive lands and however, the lowest agricultural yields and economic indicators, results that they were corroborated with the analysis of automatic classification when being included in oneself group of the dendograma |
