Spanish abstract Se estudió el potencial reproductivo de Spodoptera frugiperda, hospedante natural del parasitoide Telenomus sp., a temperatura ambiente con alimento natural, cuya cría masiva se realizó en el Centro de Reproducción de Entomófagos y Entomopatógenos de Camalote en la provincia de Camagüey en condiciones artesanales. Se determinó la longitud de las larvas, longitud, ancho y peso pupal en los diferentes tratamientos así como el potencial reproductivo de las hembras adultas y se encontró que éste fue mejor influido por el tratamiento donde se utilizó maíz durante todo el estado larval
English abstract The reproductive potential of Spodoptera frugiperda, natural host of the parasitoide Telenomus sp. was studied, to ambient temperature with natural food whose massive breeding was carried out in the Centro de Reproducción de Entomófagos y Entomopatógenos of Camalote in the Camagüey province under handmade conditions. The longitude of the larvas was determined, longitude, wide and weight pupal in the different treatments as well as the reproductive potential of the mature females and it was found that this was influenced better by the treatment where corn was used during the whole larval state
