| English abstract | Iñapari, a Peruan city located in the triple-frontier (Brazil/Peru/Bolivia), although having a reduced population (2,000 inhabitants), does not escape from relationships framed by differences. Individuals and groups approach each other by means of work relationships, neighborhood, and family ties. However, they feel themselves apart or disaggregate themselves through the differentiation of "being born there" or being an "outsider", thus generating cultural frontiers between the native and the immigrant people, sheltering several tensions and conflicts. Such tensions reflect the uncertainties and unsafety, contained in the sociability of contemporary cities in the globalized world. These migrants are persons who dislocated themselves to Andean regions, looking for the boundary regions with the purpose to set a business and to gather some money; in order to be integrated, they reinvent their traditions, and by means of associations, they express feelings of solidarity, "to belong to", wishing to maintain different traces of their culture of origin |
| Portuguese abstract | Iñapari, a cidade peruana situada na tríplice fronteira (Brasil/Peru/Bolivia), apesar de ter um número reduzido de moradores (2000 habitantes), não escapa do estabelecimento de relações tecidas pelas diferenças. Os indivíduos e grupos que se aproximam por relações de trabalho, vizinhança ou parentesco ainda se sentem separados ou se separam a todo instante pela condição de "serem nascidos "nela" ou "fora dela". Isso gera fronteiras culturais e ressentimentos entre nativos e migrantes, dando origem assim a uma gama extensa de tensões e conflitos. Essas tensões refletem as incertezas e inseguranças existentes na sociabilidade das cidades contemporâneas do mundo globalizado. Esses migrantes são pessoas que se deslocam de regiões andinas e buscam a zona fronteiriça com o objetivo de montar um negócio e adquirir capital. Para se integrarem reinventam tradições e, por meio de associações, expressam sentimentos de solidaridade e pertencimento e os desejos de manterem traços distintos oriundos de sua cultura de origem |
