| English abstract | The paper discusses the process of appropriation of popular oral stories from the twelfth to the fifteenth centuries, by Perrault. It analyses the images of women acclaimed and celebrated in the author's fairy tales, built and inscribed within a given context and which propose certain values. The paper also analyses the possibility of reconstructing a socio-cultural history of folk-tales. It suggests an interdisciplinary approach to fairy tales in which cultural history and the history of the material forms would indissolubly mix |
| Portuguese abstract | Este trabalho discute o processo de apropriação por Perrault das histórias populares orais dos séculos XII ao XV, e as imagens de mulheres consagradas e celebradas em seus contos de fadas construídas e inscritas num determinado contexto. Analisa-se a possibilidade da reconstrução de uma história cultural e social dos contos de fadas, e se propõe uma abordagem interdisciplinar dos contos de fada, na qual a história cultural e a história das formas materiais estariam indissoluvelmente mescladas |
