| Spanish abstract | El trabajo “Μανουήλ Β΄ Παλαιολόγος: Αυτοκράτορας και συγγραφέας (1350-1425)” presenta sintéticamente, en lengua griega, la obra tanto política como literaria del antepenúltimo emperador bizantino, centrándose principalmente en el “Espejo de Príncipe” que compusiera y dedicara a su hijo y sucesor Juan VIII. El escrito conserva la forma original con la que fue presentado en el Congreso Internacional “Έλληνες λογοτέχνες απο την άλωση μέχρι σήμερα”, organizado por la Corporación Σωματείo Διεθνών Σχέσεων και Πολιτιστικών Ανταλλαγών ΚαλύμνουΑθήνας. (Atenas, 2008) |
| English abstract | The work "Μανουήλ Β΄ Παλαιολόγος: Αυτοκράτορας και συγγραφέας (1350-1425)" presents a synthesis, in the Greek language, of the work, both political and literary, of the antepenultimate Byzantine emperor. It focuses mainly on the "Mirror for princes" which was composed and dedicated to his son and heir to the throne, John VIII. The text keeps the original form in which it was presented at the International Meeting "Έλληνες λογοτέχνες απο την άλωση μέχρι σήμερα", organized by the Corporation Σωματείo Διεθνών Σχέσεων και Πολιτιστικών Ανταλλαγών Καλύμνου-Αθήνας (Athens, 2008) |
