| Spanish abstract | Se tiene como objetivo mostrar los elementos necesarios para el control de calidad de los boletines electrónicos del área Servicios de Atención al Público de la Biblioteca Médica Nacional de Cuba (BMN), Se utilizó como principal método de investigación el Análisis Documental, que comprendió la revisión y estudio de la literatura nacional e internacional sobre la evaluación de revistas científicas digitales como base para la posterior selección de los indicadores para evaluar los boletines de la BMN. De las propuestas seleccionadas, se seleccionaron y unificaron los más representativos. Como conclusión, tenemos que la consulta de metodologías para evaluar publicaciones digitales constituye un cambio necesario hacia las buenas prácticas en el control de calidad de los boletines electrónicos de la BMN. Hasta la fecha el proceso de evaluación de la calidad de los boletines se realizan a partir de los parámetros planteados en este trabajo. Por tanto dichos indicadores pueden ser la antesala de una futura metodología para la evaluación de la calidad de productos electrónicos en bibliotecas médicas |
| English abstract | The objective is to show the elements necessary for the quality control of the electronic bulletins of the Public Attention Services area of the National Medical Library of Cuba (BMN). Document Analysis was used as the main research method, which included the review and study of the national and international literature on the evaluation of digital scientific journals as a basis for the subsequent selection of indicators to evaluate the BMN bulletins. Of the selected proposals, the most representative ones were selected and unified. In conclusion, we have that the consultation of methodologies to evaluate digital publications constitutes a necessary change towards good practices in the quality control of the electronic newsletters of the BMN. To date, the process of evaluating the quality of the newsletters is carried out based on the parameters set out in this work. Therefore, these indicators may be the prelude to a future methodology for the evaluation of the quality of electronic products in medical libraries |
