| Spanish abstract | Enfrentado a la obligación de celebrar el centenario de la Revolución, y también el bicentenario del inicio de la Revolución de Independencia, el gobierno panista se encuentra en una posición incómoda: ¿acaso puede un gobierno de derecha celebrar una revolución o peor aún, dos revoluciones? En este artículo procuramos dar cuenta de cómo desde el poder, pero también desde la historiografía, se ha producido el efecto de evidenciar la inutilidad de la acción política en la forma de la revolución. Este efecto se recrudece y multiplica en los momentos de celebración |
| English abstract | Faced with the obligation to celebrate the centenary of the Revolution and the bicentenary of the start of the Revolution of Independence, the pan government is in an uncomfortable position. Can a rightwing government celebrate a revolution or, even worse, two revolutions? In this article we try to see how, from the perspective of power, but also that of historiography, the effect is produced of displaying the uselessness of political action in the form of revolution.
