| Spanish abstract | El presente artículo tiene como propósito analizar los contenidos de dos conceptos de culturas que se contraponen. El primer concepto es el antropológico, concebido en el sentido amplio del término y el segundo, definido en términos restringidos. Desde estos conceptos se pretende comprender los dos discursos políticos sobre el golpe de Estado del 28 de junio, que terminó con el derrocamiento del presidente Manuel Zelaya. Con ello se pretende mostrar las consecuencias ideológicas del término para comprender las diversas percepciones de la realidad política y social del país |
| English abstract | The article’s goal is to analyze the contents of two contrasting notions of culture. The first concept is anthropological and embraces the broader sense of the term; the second is defined in more restricted terms. On the basis of these concepts, the author attempts a comprehension of the two political discourses surrounding the military coup which took place on June 28 and led to the ousting of President Manuel Zelaya. The goal is to show the ideological consequences of the term in order to comprehend the different perceptions of the country’s political and social reality |
