| Spanish abstract | Se presenta la síntesis de los experimentos desarrollados en elbarrio de Cayo Hueso sobre el comportamiento de sus habitantesy cómo se manifiestan los fenómenos asociados a la transicionalidadurbano-arquitectónicas entre el espacio público y el privado. Seaplicaron distintas técnicas instrumentales que permiten unconocimiento del barrio, los mapas cognitivos de Kevin Linch, lateoría del actor —red desarrollada por Bruno Latour— que partede la observación de lo cotidiano y en el proceso de trabajo elmétodo de la Grounded Theory. Además, se contó conabundante información documental e interés del Taller Integraldel barrio. Estos trabajos aportaron nuevos conocimientos sobrela identidad del barrio de Cayo Hueso, sus necesidades materiales,ambientales y espirituales que pueden servir de base para futurasintervenciones o rehabilitaciones de sus espacios transicionalesurbanos y arquitectónicos |
| English abstract | The summary of the conducted research shows the inhabitant'sbehavior, and how the phenomena related to the urban-architectonic transition between the private and public space areseen in Cayo Hueso neighborhood. Several techniques wereimplemented to understand the neighborhood, amongst them:the Kevin Linch cognitive maps, the doer theory (a networkdeveloped by Bruno Latour) which stands on the observation ofthe daily routine, and the Grounded Theory method as part ofthe working process. Also, the research is supported by a largecollection of information and interest from the neighborhoodcomprehensive workshop. These works provided new facts onthe identity of Cayo Hueso, and its material, environmental andspiritual needs that can pave the way for future renovation of itsarchitectonic and urban transitional spaces |
