| Spanish abstract | Se propone una lectura de la novela histórica Francisco Pizarro, escrita por la peruana Rosa Arciniega en 1936. Por medio del análisis de la obra se reflexionará en torno la ambigua relación de la escritora con la hispanofilia como tendencia historiográfica y con el ideal desarrollista que dominaba las políticas económicas y culturales latinoa mericanas en ese período.
