| Spanish abstract | Se dan a conocer 26 especies de vegetales tintóreos promisorios más utilizados en la región La Libertad, Perú. El estudio estuvo basado en la revisión de material de herbario (F, HUT y MO), la determinación de especialistas y en la contrastación con las especies documentadas en estudios oficiales de la flora peruana. Para cada especie se considera: nombre(s) vulgar(es) si lo(s) tuviera, material examinado ( exsiccatae ), usos y estado de conservación. Se han determinado cuatro especies endémicas para el Perú ( Dicliptera hookeriana Nees, Coreopsis senaria S. F. Blake & Sherff, Berberis buceronis J. F. Macbr., Daphnopsis weberbaueri Domke). En general, las especies son empleadas por el poblador andino para teñir su vestimenta y enseres de su vida cotidiana de diferentes tonalidades |
| English abstract | We present the 26 most used promising species of dyeing plants in the region of La Libertad, Peru. The study was based on the review of herbarium material (F, HUT and MO), the determination of specialists and on the comparison with the species documented in official studies of the Peruvian flora. For each species it is considered: common name(s) if it has, examined material ( exsiccatae ), uses and conservation status. Four endemic species to Peru have been identified ( Dicliptera hookeriana Nees, Coreopsis senaria S.F. Blake & Sherff, Berberis buceronis J.F. Macbr., Daphnopsis weberbaueri Domke). In general, the species are used by the Andean inhabitants to dye their clothes and belongings of their daily life with different shades |
