English abstract | The author of this article attributes a massive character to fe-male acting during the Mexican War of Independence. She emphasizes the recognition of the existence of women with new mentalities in New Spain at the beginning of the 19th century; To do this, it exposes some of the traces of that existence through various discourses of the time in which the resistance expres-sed through the word is perceived: wi-thout leaving the current language, many women opposed the statu quo of their time; a position that would become more evident once the armed conflict began |
