| Spanish abstract | Este trabajo tiene por objetivo verificar si en la Zona Metropolitana de Pachuca existe relación entre desigualdades socio-espaciales y condiciones de acceso al agua potable entubada. Se utilizan las proporciones de viviendas diferenciadas según su condición de abasto, primeramente para el total de la zona, por municipio y después por escolaridad (años acumulados de estudio) de los jefes de domicilio. Las mejores condiciones de acceso este servicio están vinculadas a los más elevados niveles educativos de la población. Los munici-pios donde se concentró la expansión urbana reciente son los mismos que pre-sentan mejores condiciones educativas del jefe y mejor cobertura por del servicio |
| English abstract | The purpose of this work is to verify if in the Pachuca Metropolitan Area there is a relationship between socio-spatial inequalities and conditions of access to piped drinking water. Different proportions of dwellings are used according to their supply condition, first for the total area, by municipality and then for scholarship (accumulated years of study) of the heads of domicile. The best access conditions for this service are linked to the highest educational levels of the population. The municipalities where the recent urban expansion of the area was concentrated are the same ones that present better educational conditions of the chief and better coverage for this mentioned service |
