| Spanish abstract | Este artículo analiza la obra de Augusto Comte desde la política de la ciencia; se identifica que el proyecto comteano es político de la ciencia en dos sentidos. Primero, Comte concibe una ciencia tecnocrática y no hace una distinción entre la política y la ciencia. Esta noción refiere a un pensamiento híbrido entre lo humano y la máquina en donde se puede resolver los desafíos del proceso sociocultural de la industrialización. Segundo, Comte manifiesta la necesidad de la toma del poder por parte de los expertos; así, desde el poder, los científicos utilizarían sus métodos para distender las controversias políticas y podrían poner en práctica nociones como orden y progreso para la pacificación del mundo |
| English abstract | This article analyzes the work of Augusto Comte from the politics of science. The Comtean project is identified as a politics of science in two ways. First, Comte conceives a technocratic science and does not make a distinction between politics and science. This notion refers to a hybrid thought between the human and the machine where the challenges of the sociocultural process of industrialization can be solved. Second, Comte expresses the need for taking power by experts; Thus, from power, scientists would use their methods to dispel political controversies and could put into practice notions such as order and progress for the pacification of the world |
