| Spanish abstract | A los diecisiete años de edad, Friedrich Nietzsche escribió “Fatum e historia”, un ensayo que explora los fundamentos teóricos de la acción humana y que hasta el momento no ha sido debatido en las ciencias sociales. En este artículo se sistematiza la teoría implícita en ese ensayo, para luego clasificarla al interior de las distintas corrientes teóricas sobre la acción humana. Se argumenta, a partir del marco metateórico delineado por Margaret Archer, que el esquema conceptual de Nietzsche podría ser entendido como “elisionismo histórico” -diferenciándose del individualismo, el holismo, el emergentismo y el elisionismo basado únicamente en la interacción-. Este marco conceptual podría ser un aporte en las discusiones teóricas contemporáneas, ya que escapa a la principal crítica hacia la perspectiva elisionista: su incapacidad de examinar el juego mutuo entre estructura y agencia en amplios periodos de tiempo |
| English abstract | At seventeen years old, Nietzsche wrote Fate and history, an essay that explores the theoretical foundations of human action and so far has not been discussed in the social sciences. In this paper, the implicit theory of Fate and history is systematized and then classified within the different schools of thought on the human action. It is argued, from the meta-theoretical framework outlined by Margaret Archer, that the conceptual scheme of Nietzsche could be characterized as «historical elisionism» -differing of individualism, holism, emergentism and elisionism just based on the interaction-. This conceptual framework could be a contribution in contemporary theoretical discussions, because escapes the main criticism of the elisionism perspective: their inability to examine the interplay between structure and agency in long periods of time |
