| Spanish abstract | Resumen: En las condiciones en que el Inca Garcilaso de la Vega hace su ingreso a la cultura letrada -con la célebre traducción de los Diálogos de amor de León Hebreo- el imperativo de "fidelidad del traductor" se encuentra atravesado no sólo por la ideología lingüística del Humanismo sino también por restricciones del dominio discursivo jurídico y religioso. Desde esta hipótesis, el presente artículo explora las operaciones de traducción que orquesta la subjetividad híbrida de los Comentarios reales en el diseño y legitimación de su autoridad enunciativa. El análisis de estas operaciones permite describir la compleja "fidelidad" del traductor mestizo, en constante oscilación entre el desafío y el repliegue táctico |
| English abstract | Abstract: As Inca Garcilaso de la Vega enters literacy -when translating León Hebreo-s Diálogos de amor-, the "fidelity" of the translator is attached not only to the linguistic ideology of Renaissance´s Humanism but also to juridical and religious restrictions. Considering this hypothesis, the following paper examines the translation strategies performed by the hybrid subjectivity built in Comentarios reales, carried out to strengthen the enunciator-s authority. The analysis of these strategies provides a solid ground to describe the complex "fidelity" of the mestizo, a translator always oscillating between the defiance of the law and tactical retreat |
