Material and methods: A retrospective, descriptive and observational study was done which included 188 patients with a diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy between 2004 and 2008. To evalute relevant antecedents, clinical and radiologic findings. Results: 47.9% (n = 90) of the patients had history of pelvic surgery, pelvic pain is the most common clinical finding in 81.4% (n = 153), and sonographic mass anexial in 42.8% (n = 80). Conclusion: The epidemiology of ectopic pregnancy it’s similar to those previously reported by other medical centers. The clinical presentation is the classic triad confirmed by serum determination of β-HCG and a sonogram |
