| Spanish abstract | Este artículo se centra en la ardua e interesante tarea de la promoción a la lectura. Por esto mismo, subraya la importancia de la cadena de lectura, la cual invita al niño lector a sensibilizarse ante el mundo que lo rodea. La tarea del “pro-motor” a la lectura no es sencilla, pero afortunadamente existen una serie de asociaciones que apoyan la tarea y programas que reconocen la necesidad del mismo. Personas como Guadalupe Veneranda, prototipo para la animación a la lectura y fundadora de AMPLAC (Asociación Mexicana de Promotores a la Lectura A.C.), no dejan a un lado la necesaria comunicación amorosa y armoniosa entre el niño y el libro. | English abstract | This article centres itself in the interesting labor of the promotion to reading. It also underlines the importance of the chain of lecture which invites the child to make himself aware of his relation with the world. The work of the “pro-moter” that wants to create future readers is not simple; fortunatley there are several associations and programs that believe in the promoter’s task. People like Guadalupe Veneranda, a prototype for the animation to reading and founder of AMPLAC (Mexican Association of Reading Promoters A.C.), work on the necessary comunication between the child and the book. This essay presents an approximation to Guadalupe Veneranda’s work and develops a perspective that concerns he reading promotion |
