| Spanish abstract | . El objetivo de este texto es analizar la recuperación de la memoria de dos mujeres yaquis en momentos coyunturales de su historia y su correlación con sus antepasados. Se realiza un estudio a través de la memoria, desde la perspectiva de Enzo Traverso. Este enfoque postula que la memoria es seleccionada, confeccionada y reinterpretada según dilemas éticos del presente y, a su vez, esta misma presenta un alto impacto en su formación de identidad y fuerte sentido de pertenencia a un grupo. Para comprender sus memorias -a quién se recuerda, desde dónde y con qué fin-, se recurre a la mirada que analiza a la memoria mediante los estudios del feminismo poscolonial, el cual permite reconstruir las múltiples realidades de la mujer indígena e “imaginar otras cartografías de resistencias posibles” (Suárez y Hernández, 2008). El marco metodológico remite a la historia oral, donde se recuperan las memorias de las entrevistadas. Los hallazgos permiten vislumbrar que las formas de percibir la solidaridad, la colectividad y la agencia están conectadas con sus antepasados, en cuanto forjadores de identidad y transmisores de su historia, que mantienen su visión de grupo en su presente, y una posible fuente de lucha y defensa para el futuro. |
| English abstract | . The objective of this paper is to analyze the recovery of the memory of two Yaqui women in conjunctural moments of their history and its correlation with their ancestors. In this sense, the work focuses on a study through memory from the perspective of Enzo Traverso where it is selected, made, and reinterpreted according to ethical dilemmas of the present and, at the same time, it has a high impact on their identity formation and the strength of their sense of belonging to a group. To understand their memories, about who remembers, from where, and for what purpose, we resort to the gaze that analyzes memory through postcolonial feminist studies, which allows us to reconstruct the multiple realities of indigenous women and “imagine other cartographies of possible resistances” (Suárez and Hernández, 2008); the methodological framework refers to oral history, where the memories of the interviewees are recovered. The findings allow us to glimpse that the ways in which they perceive solidarity, collectivity, and agency are connected to their ancestors understood as forgers of identity, transmission of their history, who maintain their group vision in their present, as well as a possible source of struggle and defense for the future. |
