| English abstract | Considering the importance of knowing the musical genre “milongas”, which represents the culture from Rio Grande do Sul in a special way, this work aims to analyze aspects of the discourse construction of the ethos of the “milonga-song” enunciator, trying to apprehend characteristics of the activity of composition of this music genre. The methodology of this study is developed so as to answer the following questions: Which ethos is constructed in the discourse of two different “milongas” of the same composer? What characteristics of the “milongero” can be drawn from the analyzed songs? The theoretical foundation is enunciationbased discourse analysis and the Bakhtinian theory, which provides the observation of the ways the enunciator subject is constructed in the relationship with the other in discourse pieces that interlace with his, favoring the observation of the tension between identity and alterity in the texture of the “milongas”, so as to apprehend responsively to characteristics that point to the discourse construction of a “milongero” way of being |
| Portuguese abstract | Considerando a importância de se conhecer o gênero musical milonga, que representa de modo peculiar a cultura gaúcha, este trabalho tem o objetivo de analisar aspectos relativos à construção discursiva do ethos do enunciador da milonga-canção, procurando apreender características da atividade de composição da milonga. A metodologia da presente refl exão é desenvolvida de modo a responder às seguintes questões: Qual o ethos que se constrói no discurso de duas diferentes milongas de um mesmo compositor? Que características do milongueiro podem ser apreendidas a partir das canções analisadas? Como embasamento teórico, a análise do discurso de base enunciativa e a teoria bakhtiniana proporcionam a observação de como o sujeito enunciador se constrói na relação com o outro nos discursos que atravessam o seu dizer, propiciando a observação da tensão entre identidade e alteridade na tessitura das milongas, de modo a apreender responsivamente características que acenam para a construção discursiva de um jeito milongueiro de ser |
