| Spanish abstract | Aunque la “Reforma Energética” aprobada en México en 2013, podría incidir en la tenencia de la tierra en general, este trabajo analiza los cambios legislativos económico-agrarios articulados en la reforma-1992, que se consideran una intervención gubernamental con cierta intencionalidad y sus efectos en la estructura agraria. Mediante el análisis comparativo de información de variables centrales en el objeto de dicha reforma, se concluye que contra lo esperado: la tierra no se privatizó ni se concentró, el total de unidades agrícolas aumentó sensiblemente, la superficie ejidal creció más de siete millones de hectáreas y la privada disminuyó medio millón, con pocos efectos en la PEA agrícola. La reforma no logró los efectos esperados, creciendo en cambio la importación de alimentos, la pobreza y migración rural en el país |
| English abstract | Although the “Energy Reform” approved in Mexico in 2013 could have an impact on land tenure in general, this paper analyzes the economic-agrarian legislative changes articulated in the 1992 reform, which are considered a government intervention with some intentionality and its Effects on the agrarian structure. Through the comparative analysis of information of central variables in the object of this reform, it is concluded that against what was expected: the land was not privatized or concentrated, the total number of agricultural units increased significantly, the ejido area grew more than seven million hectares And the private one decreased half a million, with little effect on the agricultural EAP. The reform did not achieve the expected effects, growing instead the importation of food, poverty and rural migration in the country |
