| Spanish abstract | En este ensayo se pretende desmitificar la mitología que se ha forjado en torno a las relaciones de propiedad agraria y de producción que históricamente se han desenvuelto en el campo mexicano. Más allá de los otrora cánones nacionalistas forjados a partir de una revolución de origen social, pero de resultados capitalistas, se trata de dar su justa dimensión a dos factores que trascienden en el devenir del México rural, por un lado, la importancia de los pueblos originarios como los auténticos propietarios del territorio y por otro, a su antípoda, la influencia norteamericana, como un fenómeno que no sólo transversaliza la historia en la edificación de México en la modernidad, sino que ha definido a la estructura económica del agro |
| English abstract | This essay aims to demystify the mythology that has been developed around the agrarian property relations and of production that historically have operated in the Mexican countryside. Beyond the former nationalist canons created from a revolution of social origin, but with capitalist results , is about giving the right dimension to two factors that transcend the evolution of rural Mexico, on the one hand the importance of indigenous peoples as the true owners of the land and conversely , its antipode, the American influence, as a phenomenon that not only cuts across not only in the construction history of modernity in Mexico, but has defined the economic structure of agriculture |
