| English abstract | Desire and learning to read and write. Desire and the learning of the acts of reading and writing, as well as their acquisition are analyzed in this text from the psychoanalytical logic founded by Freud and updated by Lacan. The school and the family demand a change in the posture of the child toward a new existencial perspective as the subject of the learning process. The shift needed for this change is covered in Lacan’s Seminars and allows us to analyze the status of the school aged child who is challenged to break with the imaginary and throw him/herself towards a symbolic existence in the world of spoken and written language |
| Portuguese abstract | O desejo e a aprendizagem do ato de ler e escrever são analisados neste texto a partir da logica psicanalítica, fundada por Freud e atualizada por Lacan. A escola e a família demandam uma mudança de posição da criança para uma nova perspectiva de existência como sujeito da aprendizagem. A torção necessária para esta mudança é tratada nos Seminários de Jacques Lacan e permite refletir sobre a questão da criança escolar que é desafiada a romper com o imaginário e lançar-se à existência simbólica no mundo da linguagem falada e escrita |
