| Resumen en español | La intelectualidad del mundo se encuentra, hoy, inmersa en una discusión acerca de los límites de la razón, la legalidad del conocimiento científicotécnico, el fin de las disciplinas, el fin del sujeto y dela historia, la falacia del progreso y del desarrollo, y la emergencia de nuevos referentes y valores. En tal sentido, el debate epistemológico se ha vuelto particularmente álgido y, frecuentemente, es asumido como crítica a la Razón Instrumental, al cientificismo y a las perversiones tecnológicas, especialmente aquellas que tienen implicaciones ecológicas y sociales. Como consecuencia, todo el conocimiento, tanto el que se refiere a los átomos y las moléculas, como al mundo biológico, al hombre o a la sociedad, está siendo sacudido por una nueva visión del mundo, la cual, dicho sea de paso, amenaza incluso al propio concepto de “disciplina” y anuncia su desaparición. Así pues, la actual discusión acerca de los límites de la razón científicotécnica y la fundamentación del concepto y la práctica “disciplinaria”, estimulada por la denominada “crisis de la modernidad”, ha conducido a una nueva manera de aproximarse al conocimiento, bien sea éste natural o social, y a repensar la academia junto con las instituciones que le sirven de asiento. No esposible seguir postergando la discusión sobre el presente y el futuro de la Universidad y sus prácticas académicas, pero además, estamos obligados a insertarla en el ámbito de la crítica a la Razón Moderna, favoreciendo los enfoques que apunten a la emergencia de nuevos paradigmas y, por qué no, a la configuración de otro “episteme” de otro “modo de pensar”. | Resumen en inglés | The intellectuality of the world is, today, in a discussion about the limits of the reason, the legality of the knowledge scientific-technician, the end of the disciplines, the fellow’s end and the history, the fallacy of the progress and of the development and the emergency of new relating and value. In such a sense, the epistemological discussion has become particularly algid and, frequently, it is assumed as critic to the instrumental Reason, to the scientifisism and the technological perversions, especially those that have ecological and social implications. As consequence, the whole knowledge, so much the one that refers to the atoms and the molecules, like to the biological world, to the man or the society, it is being shaken by a new vision of the world, the one which, statement is in passing, its even threatens to the own concept of “disciplines” and announces its disappearance. Therefore, the current discussion about the limits of the reason scientific-technique and the foundation of the concept and the practice “disciplinary”, stimulated by the one denominated “crisis of the modernity”, it has driven to a new way approaching to the knowledge, well be this natural or social and to think the academy together with the institutions that serve him as seat. It is not possibleto continue deferring the discussion on the present and the future of the University an their academic practices, but also, we are forced to insert it in the environment from the critic to the Modern Reason favoring the focuses that point to the emergency of new paradigms and, why not, to the configuration of other “episteme”, of other “way of thinking”.
