Spanish abstract Reportamos el segundo caso de linfoma de células grandes con inmunofenotipo B intravascular asociado a mastitis bilateral recurrente en una paciente de 87 años de edad. Este tipo de linfoma se caracteriza por la afección del sistema nervioso central y piel. En el sistema nervioso central se manifiesta con confusión, demencia y déficit neurológico múltiple, mientras que en la piel con la presencia de nódulos, zonas eritematosas y telangiectasias. El diagnóstico es histopatológico y el tratamiento es a base de quimioterapia y corticoesteroides. El pronóstico depende del diagnóstico oportuno y tratamiento temprano
English abstract We report a case of intravascular large B-cell lymphoma associated with recurrent bilateral mastitis in an 87 year old patient. This type of lymphoma is characterized by the involvement of the central nervous system and the skin. In the central nervous system the clinical findings are confusion, dementia and multiple neurological deficit. In the skin, the clinical findings are nodes, areas of erythema and telangiectasias. The diagnosis is histopathological and the treatment is with chemotherapy and steroids. The prognosis depends on early diagnosis and treatment
