| Spanish abstract | Se estudió sobre 289 borregas el efecto del biotipo materno (Finnish Landrace x Merino Australiano: FLMA vs . Merino Australiano: MA) y del estado fisiológico (falladas: BF; criando un cordero: GL1 o dos corderos: GL2) sobre su producción de lana. La borregas MA presentaron un peso de vellón sucio 18% superior a las FLMA, tanto en el primer (3,89 vs. 3,31 kg, respectivamente), como en el segundo vellón (3,91 vs. 3,37 kg, respectivamente). A su vez, la lana de las hembras puras resultó de mayor valor comercial, por ser más fina, más larga y de mejor color. Por el contrario, el estado fisiológico no afectó la producción de lana. De todas formas, los registros mostrados por las borregas prolíficas, independientemente de su estado fisiológico, permitirían ingresos por lana para nada despreciables |
| English abstract | The effect of maternal byotipe (Finnish Landrace x Australian Merino: FLAM vs . Australian Merino: AM) and physiological status (failed hogget: FH; rearing single lamb: RSL or twins lambs: RTL) on wool production of 289 hogget was studied. The AM hogget presented greater 18% greasy fleece weigth than FLAM; in the first fleece weight (3.89 vs. 3.31 kg, respectively), and the second fleece weight (3.91 vs. 3.37 kg, respectively). At the same time, the wool of the females was pure of greater commercial value, to be more fine, longer and better color. On the other hand, physiological sta tus did not affect the production of wool. Anyway, the records showed by the prolific hogget, independently of its physiological condition, would allow income for wool despicable for nothing |
