| Spanish abstract | Se realizó una investigación para conocer las vivencias de jubilación y prejubilación de los odontólogos del Centro Universitario de Ciencias de la Salud de la Universidad de Guadalajara, México, durante el periodo 2004-2006. A través de doce estudios de casos interpretativos con generalización naturalística, con igual número de personas jubiladas y prejubiladas, así como de hombres y mujeres. Las entrevistas individuales en profundidad y las notas de campo fueron las técnicas utilizadas para recoger los datos. El análisis se realizó con los fundamentos teóricos de la fenomenología y su método fenomenológico, por medio de las fases de descripción, tematización e interpretación, y con el apoyo operativo del programa de cómputo ATLAS/ti versión 2.4. Para la descripción y tematización fenomenológicas se utilizaron las transcripciones de las entrevistas y resultaron nueve temáticas significativas para los participantes: actividades en la prejubilación; actividades de la jubilación; significados otorgados a la jubilación; conocimientos sobre jubilación; opiniones y creencias sobre jubilación; valores relacionados con la jubilación; emociones y sentimientos experimentados en torno a la jubilación; percepción global de su contexto; y percepción sensorial de su entorno, es decir lo que habían visto, escuchado, tocado, olfateado o degustado, y que estuviera relacionado con sus vivencias de jubilación y prejubilación. La interpretación se realizó a través de los cuatro existenciales básicos para el análisis fenomenológico: cuerpo vivido (corporeidad), espacio vivido (espacialidad), tiempo vivido (temporalidad) y relaciones humanas vividas (comunalidad). Los resultados del estudio, revelaron que las vivencias de los dentistas jubilados se ubicaron en el presente, manifestando cuidados por sus cuerpos, sentimientos de alegría y júbilo, acompañados de sus seres queridos y en entornos agradables para ellos |
| English abstract | An investigation was made to know the experiences retirement and preretirement of the dentist of the University Center of Sciences of the Health of the University of Guadalajara, México, during period 2004-2006. Through twelve studies of interpretativos cases with naturalística generalization, equal number of retired people and pre retired people, as well as of men and women. The individual interviews in depth and the notes of field were the used techniques to gather the data. The analysis was made with the theoretical foundations of the phenomenology and their phenomenologic method, by means of the phases of description, to find subjects, and interpretation. With the operative support of the program of ATLAS/ti calculation version 2.4. For the phenomenology description and to find subjects the transcriptions of the interviews were used and were nine thematic significant ones for the participants: activities in the preretirement; activities of the retirement; meaning granted to the retirement; knowledge on retirement; opinions and beliefs on retirement; values related to the retirement; emotions and feelings experienced around the retirement; global perception of its context; and sensorial perception of its surroundings, is to say what they had seen, listened, touched, smelled or tasted, and that were related to its experiences of retirement and preretirement. The interpretation was made through the four existencial basic for the phenomenologic analysis: lived body, lived space, lived time and lived human relations. The results of the study, revealed that the experiences of the retired dentists were located in the present, declaring taken care of by their bodies, feelings of joy and joy, accompanied by their dear beings and in pleasant surroundings for them.
